Rich kids on the block; THE HEIRS

foremost, I just wanna say.............. it's been a while since I wrote K-Drama.... hahahah well, never came across one that I wanted to talk about...... until this one......so, exactly how did YOU spend your Christmas?......... me, I was stuck infront of my computer for a rough estimate of 48hrs watching this.
THE HEIRS
so it's a drama about rich kids born from families of business tycoons with their lives crazily interconnected with each other. It is where we see rich kids live their lives in expensive schools, bully poor kids, get engaged at 17, receive company shares as birthday presents, watch their parents get either divorced or get
but beyond the crazy web of lives connected by money, the drama highlighted the life of this girl Eun Sang (Park Shin hye) and her poor life getting caught up among the rich ones.
This girl who went to America to
meet her sister, ended up meeting this guy Kim Tan (Lee Minho). Guy falls inlove with girl. Girl refuses guy. Both went back to Korea. Guy finds out girl is working as their housemaid. Guy being obsessively in love with girl and poof! goes against all odds to fight for their love....
yeah, pretty mainstream right?..... but what a mainstream drama that got me hooked up in a marathon.... hahahah
above all of that though, I think I had a grasp of what this drama wants to say........................................ along the duration of it, they seem to give emphasis on the age "18". It just simply tells me how 18 year old kids live their lives. Some starts to grow up, some refuses to grow up; some thinks about their future, some doesn't care about their future; some obey their parents, some disobeys them; some gets their first love, some says goodbye to their first love; some acts childish and impulsive, some weighs the consequences....... whatever that is......................................
18, an age where we are no longer kids, but we're not adults as well. It's a age where we are beginning to learn the ways of the earth, we choose and we suffer the consequences of those choices........... that simple... 18.....
moving on, allow me to introduce the remarkable couples of the drama.....
to start off;
#1: the cute maknae couple of Yoon Chan Young (Kang Minhyuk) and Lee Bo Na (Krystal Jung)
so this couple is the "Cheezy over-the-top lovey dovey couple" that did not have any other conflict in the story but their jealous play onto each other....
sounds nothing special right?... but hold it there! this couple can get you smiling without notice. they're such a cute match.
*****my favorite pick!
#2: the hate sibling tandem of Choi Young Do (Kim Woo Bin) and Rachael Yoo (Kim Ji Won)
became step-siblings after having their parents agreed on an engagement. these two are what we can perfectly call the "Villain siblings" of the drama...
well, their not that close, no they're really not. they actually shoot cold eyes to each other, but at some point, because of each other's evil plans they somewhat ends up as a allies, although they're not aware of it.......
#3: the one-sided love couple of Young Do and Eun Sang
this is the one-sided love of Young Do for Eun Sang, started out pissing her off, and ended up attracted to her.
kinda the martyr love that is.... a love where he continues to protect Eun Sang even though he knows she will never be his. and worst part is, her boyfriend is his enemy....... now thats really martyr.... ahahhaha
#4: the ex-best friend couple of Tan and Young Do
this couple is brought about a ruined friendship shared between the two of them. now they're not just fighting over a past feud, but also fighter over a girl.
in certain circumstances though, they may not be in good terms, but because of this girl they end up giving unwanted favors to each other.
#5: lastly, my DREAM TEAM couple..... Cha Eun Sang and Kim Tan
yes I call this Dream Team, because it has always been my dream to see both of them in a drama, see if how would they do in a couple........ two of Korea's brightest stars, Lee Minho and Park Shin Hye.... kyaaa~!
and yes, they did not disappoint.... they're just too good together and they indeed made a good job....... thumbs up!!!

now casting wise? I think they did a good job in casting..... they really had a grasp of the seriously good looking men that does not really look like 18(lol), but perfectly fits the chaebol image...
- Lee Minho - most dashing person I will ever see in a rich kid role.... his beautiful face will always work as a rich son..... ALWAYS...
- Kim Woo Bin - his raised eyebrows alone makes him the worst villain ever... that weirdly handsome features makes him convincingly look like a rich son who loves to mess around, and a someone whom you don't want to mess around with....
- Krystal Jung - her cute and chic looks and idol-fashion really fits the entertainment company CEO's daughter image. I mean what would look more of a daughter of an entertainment company CEO than someone who wears clothes as a Kpop artist. (lol)
I had second thoughts though, that kind of character can fit Suzy Bae too.. the obsessive in love girl tht acts so cute. yes that......... but Krystal fits the image better.... and she speaks English better too..... P.S: I just love her "Oh my god" moments... hahahah
- Kang Minhyuk - pretty boy image that looks like would never pick up a fight. such visuals that would perfectly fit for a character who is the class president, someone close to his father, and very loyal to his ever nagging girlfriend.
and last - Park Shin Hye - [sorry to say this] pretty yet not so stunning... just right for a poor girl image. but that innocent looking face is pretty enough for men to like............
well seems like I talked to much again... ahhahaha
as mainstream as it gets, this is still one heck of a drama....... and I seriously love it..... and yes, I just love how much that DREAM CATCHER made an impact in the story...... I just love dream catchers you know.... ahhahaha

yes WE make thier lives COLORFUL; SHINee's Colorful

say "hell yeah!" SHINee fans... cuz this is the FIRST time I'm making a SHINee review..... ahahahahso as you all know, and of course I don't really need to remind you, SHINee released their Christmas-ish MV for their song COLORFUL...
seriously, at first I thought of it as just another awkward bts video showing us what they had accomplished for the past year... but the video belatedly made sense to me.....
so the video was a montage of scenes of them singing right infront of the camera and some cutouts of their music video shooting, photo jacket shoot, concerts, fans signing, and all other events. which at first I though "what do you exactly want us to see?"
after 20mins of brainstorming (LOL) I got my answer......
so practically what they want US (fans) to see that WE make their lives COLORFUL.
they sing right in front of the camera like they are making a conversation to the fans watching the video and makes us see how much they had been tirelessly working for the whole of 2013 like saying, "we are doing these for you, because we love what we're doing and only you (fans) make our lives colorful"........................................................................................................................................,
got it right, right??? ahhahaha.....
so this is just a short one... no more no less.... just something to make you Shawols and SHINee supporters feel great this Christmas..............
...SHINee just simply loves their fans.... yeah
..... but before I go, I just wanna proclaim my LOVE of my one and only ONEW dearest.....
ONEW KYAAAA~!!!!! can't get enough of you... and that freakin' amazing voice
and then on a side note: here comes my favorite bitch; KEY... ahahahha

P.S: I know BH just released their MV for All I want for Christmas is you.......and I'm sure you guys are expecting me to review it..... but guess what, I'm still not making a review... not until I figure it out,.... hahahahah....

Christmas with BOM and HI

Christmas is here and so are the YG divas...
so it was last Friday that YG dropped this bomb on to us all teasing a new sub-unit "BH" who will cover a Mariah Carey song....... and most of us went almost certain it was BOM & HI
and yes, it really was......
YG and Samsung Music's Christmas gift for all of us.................. YG entertainment's two divas in their rendition of MC's "ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU", that in no doubt highlighted their vocal prowess.
the teasers were kinda wicked though, with those flying cakes and mice and pouring milk in the air; and some ax smashing an ice sculpture.which is really a reversal of the soulful Christmas song that they presented.
in this song, LEE HI totally nailed it. her pronunciation and diction were perfect, couple it up with her soulful low notes........ just WOW.....
sad to say though that BOMMIE unnie kinda disappoints..... well, she still had that "mermaid voice" that I always loved but seems like her English went on an early Christmas break by itself.... I know Bom has good English and she pronounces words well before... but some of her parts in this song just sounded off.....
sad to say but Hayi just saved her......
[on the biased note] who cares?! I'm just happy that my dream duet finally came to life.. and yes that song just almost moved me to tears.......... YG DIVAS ARE SWAG!!!!

so by any chance, have you seen YG's shocking teaser???? yes it is indeed SHOCKING, it was like out of the blue..... in the midst of the WINNER TV teasing and everything it's just too sudden that they released this teaser of B and H.....
lot's of talks go about this being Bom and Hayi.... well it perfectly fits..... just look at the nails..... Bommie unnie likes those sparkly accessories on her nails.... and that white colored short nails are from someone young as Hayi...........hahahaa [yes, take it from the nails...] ... kyaaa~!!!!! there's no other B and H in YG as them..... the two divas.....
whew... at last... my dreams of seeing these divas in a collab is finally here.....
this is YG's Christmas Gift for me!!!! for all of us!!!!
and yeah, they have a amazing teaser vid that looks so fancy yet wicked at the same time..... check it out on my featured video...........
now let's all wait for the official release......
