EXO - Call Me Baby

After teasing the fans with Pathcodes that seemed to be undecodable; from speculations of "Call me daddy", finally EXO is back introducing their new MV for CALL ME BABY.
Apart from their signature complex blocking and unconventional camera angles, EXO's new music video is brighter than the previous music videos the group has released. This mv showed more vivid colors and flashy outfits that showed a bright boyfriend concept from the boys.
After going under issues and controversies, this is the first time EXO is making a comeback with a lesser group members than before. However no bad news can ever take them down, the boys are back with more body waves and definitely a much stronger and sharper moves than what they have showed before.

Should Marriage always come with love? Or is someone you need more important than someone you love?this drama gives us answers to these questions.
Starred by Han Groo, Yun Woo Jin, Jung Jin Woon, Han Sun Hwa, Huh Jung Min and Yoon So Hee. TVN's MARRIAGE NOT DATING is a comedic series that shows us the realities of the thing we call "marriage".
In the topic of marriage, there are different kinds of people. There are those who wants to find love and marry the person they love; there are others who just want to fall in the frenzy of having love, but gets no thoughts of marrying at all; and there are those who just doesn't want anything but be with himself forever.
This series showcases the events in main character, Joo Jang Mi's, life as she struggles to find the assurance of love as she prepares for her perfect married life.
As the main topic of this series is showing the realities of what really goes on in the process of getting married, it has an underlying topic of showing us the reality of life itself.
It shows us that life works best with communication and understanding. That in our every waking day, there is the constant struggle of understanding people, as people also struggle to be understood. That there are things that not only needs to be seen but also needs to be heard in order to be fully understood.
Although the push-and-pull plots didn't really appeal to me; and there are numerous of scenes that were left hanging [spoiler alert!!!], I specially like this because of the many realities about life that they present; and we can definitely learn from them.
Seeing the end to this series makes me feel like I want to get married soon. But yes, there are a lot of troubles to go through, and people to face, and arguments to make. Yet then again, that's what makes the marriage itself beautiful, because it was never easy to arrive at your happy ending.
For marriage is not only about two people falling in love with each other. This is no Snow White and Prince Charming story, I say. But real marriage is about FAMILY.

hey guys! introducing a new corner in my blog, THROWBACK MUSICVIDEO THURSDAY! yay~!here I'll be reviewing MVs released months or even years before.
so for my first throwbackMVthursday post, here I give you Eric Nam's Heaven's Door
Eric Nam was discovered through an talent program "Birth or a Great Star 2". After which he released his debut MV on Jan 2013 as a part of his promotion for his first ever mini album "Cloud 9".
This song talks about moving on a new phase and looking at love all over again. It compares falling in love as to opening the doors of heaven. there's uncertainty of what's on the other side, but you would still put all your trust in it and open it up because it has the promise of heaven in it.
the music video is a sweet and warm invitation to a lover to come find each other in your own kind of heaven.

Our man ERIC NAM ,with his lovely voice, is back with his latest single
I'M OKAY I'M OKAY
This new single is a ballad that can touch everyone's heart as it sings about a love that has passed away. It mostly talks about moving forward after being hurt so much; thus we say, I'm Okay.
Together with the very emotional song is a perfectly matched music video.
The music video gave highlights to frames and pictures as a way of reuniting us with memories. It's is where we see the good thing preserved inside the four edges of a frame.

I love this music video most especially because it is simple [I always prefer the simple ones], yet very creative. I love how he watches over and smiling on the memories he had despite of the sad song he is singing. Showing that he is okay.
And speaking of the song, the song is so emotional; paired up with the MV, it got me tearing up after the second time I watched it.

the next KPOPSTAR

the ever famous survival auditions KPOPSTAR is entering it's 4th season's live broadcast in just a week! And apparently we Filipinos have all the reason to be proud of.Introducing our very own Pinoy Pride, ERIN MIRANDA!
16-year-old Erin, was born and raised in Australia with her Parents who are both Filipino. This is her second try for a talent search after X-Factor Australia. She says Kpop was her inspiration why she wanted to be a singer, and luckily, she was given a chance in KPOPSTAR4.
She might not be the darling of the crowd during the preliminary rounds of the said program. However, with the right team and the right dedication, she and her accidental group, the "Sparkling Girls", eventually clawed their way up to TOP10.
Now as live broadcasts are nearing, Filipinos who are following the program are crossing their fingers for Erin's success. Who knows, her girl group might emerge as winners and she might be the next KPOP STAR.
Indeed, with the right attitude, talent, age, and support, anyone can achieve their dreams.

Survival Auditions KPOPSTAR 4 TOP10

SEO YE AN
Her peculiar dancing to Ariana Grande's Problem during round1 got us all hooked up to her adorable charms. But it's not only her spontaneity that got her to TOP10, it's her natural voice and stage presence that did so.
SPARKLING GIRLS
Four vocally talented girls who unfortunately each ranked lowest of their batch during the ranking auditions. This caused them to fail to be chosen by other contenders for team-up during round3. Fortunately for them, they found each other and made an amazing teamwork that led them to compete for live broadcasts as a girl group.
PARK YOON HA
The girl with an amazing ballad sentiments. All three judges wanted to cast her during the Casting Auditions. She has the ability to own any song and sing it in her own unique way. Such voice that is perfect for every Korean ballad.
LEE JIN AH
One of the strongest contenders in this season. Her unique voice and over-the-top abilities to compose a song took her to land a spot on the TOP10. She shared that she had once released an album in the indie scene which unfortunately didn't receive much attention which pushed her to try her chances again on KPOPSTAR.
LILLY M
A Korean-Australian girl who's strength goes with her technique in singing. Those techniques others are practicing hard to perfect are just a natural for her. She's a child actor in Australia before she left to take part in KPOSTAR. She even have to ask permission from her director to move her shooting schedules just to fly all the way to another country.
JI JON
a joint name for it's two members MIJI and JOHN (also a pun for a Korean word which means THE BEST) this two are actually doing good alone(with their own instruments) but did unexpectedly better when the judges made an experimental team-up between the both. Their perfect mixture eventually made way to their spot in the TOP10.
JEONG SEUNG HWAN
The contender the whole Korean music industry is raving about. His exceptional emotions could get you falling and falling into the song without you knowing it. His rendition of Kim Jo Han's "I Want To Fall in Love" during the ranking auditions did not only gathered hits on streaming media sites but actually topped Korean Music Charts enough to even push professional artists below him. He is already famous even before live broadcasts. Which makes us wonder how much farther can he make as the show continues.
ESTHER KIM
One of the contestants that the judges has eyes for since the first round. Her strength goes with her ability to convey the perfect emotion for each song that she is singing. She is dubbed as the girl version of season3's grand champion Bernard Park.
GRACE SHIN
The girl who came back after 3 years after not being able to fly to Korea to participate in the first season. Her singing ability is her strongest weapon. She is always complimented to be the best singer in KPOPSTAR since season1, yet she's always pointed out for her lack of emotions.
KATIE KIM
Opposite from her slow-paced talking, she transforms into a soulful singer when singing a song. Her singing genre is a mixture of Soul, RNB and Jazz that anyone listening could really get hooked.
Instead of powerfully belting out her high notes, she sings them with a soft, delicate and accurate way.

This year, KPOPSTAR has a pool of amazing talents since round one; and a lot of them were unfortunately eliminated already. This only means those who are remaining in the TOP10 are even stronger than what we might expect them to be. A lot of great talents made their way, and a lot more Dark Horses are rising in all directions.
This season of KPOPSTAR is such a strong one that you won't even dare miss a single episode. I'm pretty much looking forward to the live broadcasts, myself; and I know so do you.
Let's watch out for the last contender standing for this year's KPOPSTAR, and continue on cheering for your favorite!
