ALL or NOTHING: 2ne1 in Manila #5yearswith2NE1
Tuesday, May 20, 2014
Even though I am in no mood to blog right now, I just have to do it so as I can move on.......

okay, so let me start by saying, "I will never again betray my gut feeling".... [yes!]

May 17,2014 2NE1's 5th year Anniversary celebrated in my country, the Philippines, with an ALL or NOTHING concert.

...............
MY STORY
my story starts with my VIP ticket....... yah, I was on standing VIP and I might really say SVIP gives you lots of experiences you will never EVER forget.....
[I'll just skip the early parts where we get to experience the crazy lines before the concert]

although I was already thinking of standing on the sies parts of the VIP section, my friends insisted we would stand in the middle because you can see everything there. So I say "okay let's do that", not even expecting that EVERYTHING meant EVERYTHING....... vision wise, and experience wise,,,, it was a crazy place to be.... all fans were so hyped up to see 2ne1 in full blast. so it was like a battle all through out.

well, I started standing in the middle part on the 5th row before the concert, and as soon as the concert started I managed to push through the 2nd row of the center VIP section. But then, it was not a good place to be for people with low stamina. People from the back kept on pushing forward and pushing from side to side [to get a clearer view] but others kept on resisting so it was like a domino effect. When one person moves, everyone moves with them.
Like come one people! can't we just stay in one place?!.....

yah for a moment it was a good place to be since you can see the artists in FULL BLAST including the dancers and get to feel all the stage pyro too... but right in time for WINNER's stage the crowd got so freaking crazy again!

[yeah, yung totoo VIP people, you went there for WINNER noh!] they kept on pushing and pushin forward... until such time I dropped my phone... paket!
I was unable to see CL's stage because I was preoccupied with looking for my phone.... my videos were there!!! by the time I popped my head up from the crowd, CL's stage was almost over.. yeah right.....
I wasn't successful that time though, so I decided it was time to move out. Slowly I moved back from my place until I managed to get out of the concert grounds, took some time to breathe and went in and stood in the back portion instead. but hell yeah I enjoyed it more when I was at the back. I think everyone there were those tired ones who draw back from the crazy crowd as well.
They were all  just standing there watching 2ne1.... But here I am jumping up and down like crazy on my own.
until such time the concert was over. As soon as  the house lights went on, I immediately went back for my phone.... good thing and THANKFULLY, this one man found it... oh thank you kuya!!!!! and yes, I can now prove the durability of a NOKIA phone.... awesome!
and yeah, I was planning to sell out my phone as soon as I get back from the concert, [although I'm not sure if someone would buy it] now I don't want to anymore. it hold too much memories, I just wanna frame it!

and yes, you might wanna hear my lightstick box story.... ahahhah!!!
so I was battling through out the concert right, but did you know all the while, until such time I went out of the VIP area, I was clipping my light stick box in between my thighs?.... like wahahahah!!! I let go of my phone but never my box! [you might not know, I'm a box keeper..... well just because it's easier to keep things when they have boxes and they last longer...]
......................
crazy story right? ahhahaha

now I'm not saying SVIP is a nightmare. SVIP is AWESOME as long as you know what to do..... and yes, I believe from that experience I absolutely know now what to do..... [, I'll just skip sharing that one.... but if you really wanna know, you can leave me a comment... I'd be happy to share some tips! hahhaha feeling like a concert goer expert now!]
......................
HIGHLIGHTS
now there were a few highlights from this concert that made it even more memorable.
1) WINNER came in with their buss curtains drawn up.... so I seriously saw them pass by riding their buss on their way to the backstage because they didn't even bother to put the curtains down. so much fan service....
2) I got in close contact with my friend FIVI MIN's crush.... Mr. Hae! hahahah.... we were falling in line that time when we had this quick communication because of the VIP priority number thing.....
3) I got to see HWANGSABU in person!.... like yeah guys!!!! no joke seriously...... but boohoo! it was the time I pushed back from the crazy crowd so my phone was still not with me... [whew I hope it was though, I wouldn't have second thoughst of asking a photo from him.... but still, do you believe me guys???? you do right??]
4) of course, it is seeing 2ne1, hi-tech oppas and Winner in full blast..... it was like a 2-3 meter distance from you..... it was seriously an awesome night..... gaaah!!!
.......................
SEEING THE STARS
one of the first thing friends would ask me is "how do they look" now let me tell you how they appeared to be that night
CL was the usual CL that we see on screen. It's just like a she was ripped out of the monitor. So the normal for her. [but of course, charisma overflows 100times more live.] and yes, CL's thighs.... LOL
DARAwas still the same too... but her abs looked great... most esp seeing it live...
BOM was so thin. she doesn't seem that thin on screens though. she seemed smaller than CL.... hahaha
MINZY, now this is one person I never expected to be soooo gorgeous. [biases aside] seriously.... and although, I had my brain programed into looking at my bias wrecker, BOM that night, she absolutely reminded me that she was my bias.....it only deepened my love for her....

now going to WINNER.... Not all of you knew that my bias is JINWOO, and bias wrecker is MINO; but I absolutely had my eyes all for Mino that night.
MINO looks so handsome really. he was actually tan, like TOP tan. And it was a tan that was so even and looked really good on him. On to of that, is face was pore-less! and not to mention the muscles... hahahah!
but like in the previous concert that I went to, I was expecting that someone would snatch my eyes again because of their different image live. and yes, it happened again this time.
LEE SEUNG HOON, my official HEART-SNATCHER [well he ranks 3 on my WINNER bias list actually]. But seriously, he was so different on a live stage, so handsome! not the usual Hoon that we see...
And this is not a one-man-opinion.... almsot all the ACES who went to the concert says so too.....
you might think I'm changing bias right now because of the two rappers that I kept on talking about. but dont worry, Jinwoo is still my bias.
JINWOO though, was like Dara and CL..... feels just like ripped off from the screen. the usual.... but you can really feel how warm he is on live stage. he is like a waving machine, he never stops waiving and smiling... really cute!.
okay, you might also be expecting me to talk about the maknaes, but sorry, I wasn't really paying attention to them.. although I had a fancam of Nam Tae and his unforgettable "Ju'llibee" moment that was sooo cute!.
NAMTAE and his "Ju'llibee" moment.... we will ... on Twitpic
........................

Although I can FULL ADMIT I missed almost half of the show because I was busy battling with my co-blackjacks...... I can say that that was an experience I WILL NEVER FORGET..... and yes, indeed happy to spend an anniversary with them.... 2ne1 is LOVE!
well, sometime's it's the experience that makes it even more memorable...... it's just a state of mind you know.
Now, you might ask me if I would go for it again?
my answer is YES!! I definitely will![i know now what to do right???].... hahahaha those memories that will stick in my mind forever..... BLACKJACK FIGHTING!!!

The second time around; EMERGENCY COUPLE
Friday, May 9, 2014
"LOVE is sweeter the second time around" as they say. This does not only go for LOVE alone, but with everything around us.

This is what "EMERGENCY COUPLE" wants to tell us.

It is a RomCom series about a couple (oh Chan Min and Oh Jin Hee) who married in their early age, got divorced and met again after 6 years.

Now you might be expecting my normal review for this one; but I would want to talk more about the underlying content of this series; which is, SECOND CHANCES.

Despite of its fun and wacky approach, this series tells us something more about the reality of our dear lives. It tells us how precious second chances are. It tells us that second chances are sweeter since you already come to realize your mistakes, know the reasons why, and open your hearts and minds into understanding each other more; hence we learn to love deeper.

Second chances indeed makes us stronger. This is because we already know our mistakes and know the things that would work and not work. It makes us value our lives more and love the people around us more.

Second chances comes with "moving on" we move on to another phase of our lives, heal those scars and make sure you won't hurt yourself on the same spot again. No, we don't forget the past; we just let go of the emotions that's left in them and let those memories stay in our minds forever. It's like remembering them like how we would always remember our A-B-C.

Yes we would change, but we would change in a good way. In a way that we will never do those crazy/stupid/idiotic mistakes we did before.

Like in this series, you could either end up like Chang Min and Jin Hee who, after getting divorced, decided to open their hearts more and started a new beginning together; or be like Dr. Gook and Dr. Shim who, although didn't come together again, became even more open and comfortable with each other and held a strong friendship between them.

Yes I'm not saying giving second chances should always end up being together like getting married or something. let's just say Second chances just gives way for us to appreciate each other more; appreciate our lives more and protect it/them even more.

I like this series because of the beautiful reality it wants us to see. It tells us that this life can never be perfect, but we can only strive harder to make it a good one.

so I end up by leaving you with some quotes from the series itself. And yes, i hope you, my reader, would look at life and all the second chances it has and it has yet to bring in a very beautiful way.

"There's no right answer in life. There is only the process to make it the right answer"

"A perfect life doesn't exist. Unexpected accidents happen in life and we make irreversible mistakes too. but every time we fall and get hurt in life, we definitely find ourselves changed in the midst of it."

non-human lovestory; MY LOVE FROM ANOTHER STAR
Saturday, May 3, 2014
let me start by saying, ....I know a good drama when I see one..... because I end up seeing it in my dreams..... LOL
.another Drama complete! and it's not your usual Drama, this time it's from the stars!

MY LOVE FROM THE STAR
[not your usual drama]

when we say it's not your usual, we mean it! This doesn't only compose of the usual leading man-leading lady- villain format of characters because for the first time in forever, [well, it's my first time to encounter such] we have an alien in our midst! And no, he doesn't look green, nor does he had antennas on. this Alien-Leading man is so like our usual-handsome-manly leads. but this time he has super powers. Let's just say he is a mutant of some sort. Plus he is a vampire (he never gets old).

My Love From The Star (alternately known as: My love from another star/ You who came from the star) is a story of a famous yet not so lucky actress by the name Cheon Song Yi (Jun Ji Hyun) who came to have
this some kind of fate to meet the Alien Neighbor/Class Professor/Manager/Protector, Do Min Joon (Kim So Hyun)

there are a number of reasons why I'd really want to give a BIG round-of-applause to the makers of this drama.
first off is because of the story itself, again, this is the first time (well, in as much as I can remember) that a Drama was made so magical yet so realistic at the same time. Unlike some other dramas that meddle with magic or super powers or anything supernatural (let's just say Queen Inhyun's Man), this drama is the closest to reality. I mean, it's not so usual, and kind of impossible, for a person to own a talisman and travel through time and space and have the history changing from time-to-time to happen in real life, right; but in this case, who knows, your neighbor might be an alien who lived for years and years like Professor Do (yeah, I'd like to call Do Min Joon Prof. Do. kekeke).
second, I love their story-telling format. I love how they played with all those flashbacks and narrations of such. Also, those clips playing right after the closing credits and the beginning credits are a genius! it's where some parts of the episode are justified because in-between clips/back stories of some scenes are explained through these extras. It's like the makers really wanted the audience to watch the episodes from it's first second until the very end of it. And yes, they succeeded! In other dramas, these spots are used for reviews and previews of the other episodes [and I would always end up wanting to skip them], but in this one, it's not. It suddenly became a requirement to watch out even after the closing credits because you might miss something out.
third, I love these little POV interviews/diary entries. another genius! it explains more about how the
characters are feeling and gives us more opportunity to grasp the whole story... Sometimes they even end up being confessions of such. But what is it's connection to the present situation in the drama? Nothing, it's just somewhat another extra clip which was inserted in-between scenes. But amazingly they didn't ruin the whole flow of the drama, they even made it more amazing!
and fourth, let me just shout out, VISUALS OVERLOAD!!!!!! Yes! I just love it when I see too much visuals in one screen. This drama just had a lot! from the main casts Jun Ji Hyun and Kim So Hyun, to the supporting stars Yoo In Ah and Ahn Jae Hyun, and almost everyone!
Even the teen stars were good looking.

though......... I just have to say, the OST was not that catchy for me, saaareh!\
like I've  said, I know a good thing when I see one, same goes to music. didn't really got lost in it with the music.... though I love that "you are my destiny" song... [sorry, didn't know the title, and just can't look it up online since there's been a problem with my computer right now.... I'll do better next time *low bows*]

nevertheless; all-in-all I thank you SBS for giving us this drama.... it was so funny, heart-warming and heartbreaking all at the same time. Well, I haven't cried so hard over a drama ever since Kang Chi.
and so I firmly say that this drama is a must watch! tell me I have bad taste if you don't like this.... because this is so good!

don't you agree????? leave me your comment now!
