get to know YG ENT's new girl group BLACK P!NK

Just as it is a few days down to their debut, I'd want to take time and deeply delve into this new girl group YG Entertainment is cooking in their kitchen.
So yeah, just as what I have said, there is a new addition to YG Family and it's now finally, after 7 years, another legit girl group.
Everyone, say hello to BLACK PINK! YG's upcoming new Girl Group.
If we can remember, YG has been working on debuting a new girl group for years now, and with so much anticipation they finally are ready. [But no, they are not the ones in YG Ent's video entitled "2ne1 4 years later". hahahah it has really been 4 years but none of the girls there are here. LOL]
NAME:
BLACK PINK. such color contrast we see in here. YG creators once stated that the name is so to show two sides of the girls. BLACK depicting a strong image and PINK depicting a girly and feminine one. So basically if we put them together, it tells us that these girls will be girly but strong at the same time. FEMME FATAL if you ask me. SSENUNNIES in the making. [*wink wink]
IMAGE & GENRE:
Different from their Senior's(2NE1) debut 7 years ago, these girl are coming out to be sexy. Basing on their profile photos YG tells us that NO, they won't be like 2ne1 who debuted in baggy pants and oversized shirt looking all tomboy in their strongest hiphop vibe, in fact it's the complete opposite. They're coming out sexy. But it won't be the EXID, or 4-MINUTE or SISTAR type of sexy; for this SEXY is too GIRLY and at the same time SWAG. And I think that completes the BlackPink formula. Definitely something new to look forward to.
now allow me to introduce to you our 4 girls; shall we?
MEMBERS:
JISOO (1995)
The eldest in the team. DARA Park in the making(hahahah) [people actually think they look similar]. This unnie can actually be the next Dara Park of the YG Family for her visuals and acting skills says so. She starred in MVs like Epik High's HAPPEN ENDING and SPOILER, HI_SOHYUN's I'M DIFFERENT and also came with guest roles in the 2014 drama Producer.
Now this girl is definitely on the roll even before their debut, she also landed a number of endorsements like SAMSONITE RED alongside Lee Minho, LG and SMART UNIFORM with sunbae group iKON, NIKKON, etc. deaaaabak!
she holds the innocent/conservative-ish(?) image in the group, so you would usually see her in a lot of see-through garments as compared to other members who are mostly skin. [hihihi]
[my pick in the group actually. I just don't know why but somewhat her pretty face and awkward dancing(pls refer to the dance practice video below) got me curious. Also, I love how she's covered up but still appear sexy at the same time. indeed "less is more" *wink wink*]
JENNIE (1996)
The said to be leader of the group. She's already known to the public because of her appearance in GD's THAT XX, she also featured in other YG artist's songs like Hayi's SPECIAL, GD's BLACK and Seungri's GG BAE. So basically the name Jennie Kim is not that alien to us any more.
Image-wise, I think she is the perfect epitome of BlackPink's Sexy, Cute and Swag image. She's like the Ssenunnie among all 4 ssenunnies, if you know what I mean. [Just take a look at her profile photos and you would understand what am I trying to imply right now.hihihi] I mean she looks so cute and girly, but strong and scary at the same time. definitely not the one to mess with. hahahah [do I make sense?]
ROSÉ (1997)
Accent on the last E because YG just won't settle for a simple pronunciation. hahahah!! real name PARK CHAEYOUNG, and this one is whom I admit I didn't have a single idea of who he was before. [sarreh] only that she featured in one of GD's song entitled WITHOUT YOU. She's one of the visuals that I like among the members actually. Ozzing with the authentic "Korean" beauty, she reminds me somewhat of Apink's Chorong or 15& Baek Yerin.
She comes as the one with the mature image in the group, somewhat Elegant looking but swag at the same time.
LISA (1997)
lastly the maknae from Thailand that stirs up all the interests since the day her profile photos were released. LALISA[or I like to call her LALICE] is not a new name in YG Entertainment as well. She was seen on Taeyang's RINGALINGA MV with a number of YG trainees and she's been the main face of YG ENT's apparel line NONAGON alongside BI and BOBBY since 2014.
but what kept fans interested in her is her strong sexy image. She's been showing some skin and swag in all their profile photos and fans just can't get enough.
So these are the girls who surpassed the YG trainee survival period and that YG has been busy preparing and teasing us about. one more thing to look forward with them is that the group will release 8 MVs (all songs in their mini. another YG first!) alongside their debut; and the first three has already finished shooting. So we shall expect that they'd be promoting for a longer time this year.

Now if you ask me what to expect from these girls? I think we can expect great things from them. Basically, if their profiles are indeed the image they're taking to stage then that's already something big to look forward to. It's not always that we get to see girl groups in this kind of fusion-ed image and that will be their own for the whole time they'll stay as a group. Also these girls are not strangers to us, their talents to be exact, for we've seen how good they are years before and it's just definite that those skills had already improved big time!
Will they make it big in the industry? I say yes! [and my YG stan self says YES OF COURSE!] YG might always leave us hanging with teasers and news that takes years to materialize but we're sure that YG ENTERTAINMENT NEVER DISAPPOINTS. and I think it will still work out that way this time around.
So are you anticipating this debut as well? I say you should be!

WONDER GIRLS - Why So Lonely

So Wonder Girls (my HEROES) are back with a fresh new music that's quite been topping the charts since release.
Why So Lonely, Wonder Girls' new title song that got people hooked on because of it's unique sound.
The song talks about being in a relationship that feels nothing at all. it specifically talks about having a lover by your side but that person acts somewhat indifferent and thus you expect to feel something but actually you end up feeling nothing special.
what makes this song loved by most is because of its catchy Reggae sound with a mix of the signature Retro Vibe of the girls. [of course, what is a WG music without the retro touch?]. And this time, the girls gave full attention to the production of the song, as well as the whole of their mini for all three songs were composed and arranged by them. [clap clap clap!]
and speaking of the "Retro Vibe", the music video is indeed very retro; with the lens effects and the colorful yet kinda rusty vibrancy, this MV will surely remind you of the 70s.
And for the image, they still got that sexy and spiky image that they already have since I Feel You (or even way before that) only this time they went bohemian. [I kinda like some of their clothes though, especially the shorts and the pants;and the sticker tattoos. I give you a heart for that!]
Nothing has actually changed for the girls; for that past year that they did not release anything. Only that this time they ventured to a new sound that quite picked all our curiosity.
and they became sexier. hihihihi
