ANGEL EYES

in the continuous verge of Dramas/Series in today's generation, makers are probably cracking their heads to give fans something different from the others. And I say, this one just made it as a great competition to all the others. It got me appreciating each moment as the drama progresses.
ANGEL EYES
A story of a "first love" who got separated due to unavoidable circumstances. But after meeting again in 12 years, certain truths and issues were revealed that hindered them from continuing their love easily.
This drama did not only highlight how sweet first loves can be, but also how strong a parent's love can grow in order to protect their child and sacrifice everything for them.

Apart from the great pool of actors, what's BEST about this seres is how SIMPLE and STRAIGHT FORWARD each scene and conflict is. There was not much drama, only rational reactions from each character. There was a reason for each character to act such way, such reaction and emotion we can obviously see in reality.
[compared to the mainstream, there was no overacting conflicts that brings the drama to a crazy circular motion that, in reality, it can be resolved in a snap (you know what I mean.hihihi) there was not even the popular "I will get revenge because you took my lover away" scene.
In short they were not "beating around the bush"]
but what's good about this drama is that it never bored me. not a moment I lost concentration. it was so ENGAGING despite the simple flow of things.
And I was not joking when I said the actors were AMAZING. they are actually not the mainstream popular actors of today, others are even just rising stars, but it is no doubt that all of them are very talented and they all did a great job! They all had the ability to pull you in.
I particularly want to say KUDOS to Go Hye Sun for doing a good job! she matured very well for these past years. Now I can say her many years of experience not only from acting but also from directing really did her well. She's not anymore the Jhandi that I know 5 years back, but she indeed matured so much. I've said this a lot while watching the drama, but I won't regret saying it again for another time. Go Hye Sun is SUCH A GREAT TALENT!

another thing that got me hooked up in this drama is their soundtrack. how can a drama have such a playlist of good songs? not a single song from the soundtrack that did not interest me. (i'm not lying).
[try to listen to this playlist. most esp to the first song; Lasse Lindh's "Run To You", and Baek Ah Yeon/ Kang Haneul's " 내게 남은 세가지" (Three Things I Have Left)]
This Drama is one of the best creations in 2014 that I have seen so far... and I would gladly say that the people and the brains behind this project is no doubt very SMART!
